A French company called “New Wind” installed several tree-shaped wind turbine generators at the Place de la Concorde in Paris, France.
As the following picture, the outline of the wind turbine generator looked like a tree, and the wind turbines looked like leaves. When the wind go through, these leaves rotateing in the breeze of the wind, like dancing.
The company’s founder, Jérôme Michaud-Larivière came up with this idea while he “saw the leaves tremble when there was not a breath of air.”
He hopes the trees can be used to exploit small air currents flowing along buildings and streets, and could eventually be installed in people’s yards and urban centres. Making the whole equipment becomes a beautiful scenery line in the city. May be it will attract plenty of birds to nesting on the "tree".
