On March 12th, 2018, the first solar photovoltaic water lifting project in Qianxinan Prefecture - the water-lifting rural drinking water safety pilot project in Shangshuiqiao Village, Longchang Town, Zhenfeng County passed the acceptance check and was officially put into use.
The provincial water conservancy bureau approved 916,600 yuan for the construction of a pilot project of solar photovoltaic water lifting rural drinking water safety in Shangshuiqiao Village, Longchang Town, Zhenfeng County. The project has a design life of 25 years and is equipped with 240 pieces of 1 x 1.6 square meters of solar photovoltaic panels to synthesize a 63 kilowatt photovoltaic power generation system with a pump power of 37 kilowatts, a lift of 150 meters and a maximum flow of 65m3/hour. It is reported that in Zhenfeng County, the average standard sunshine duration of the year is 4.35 hours. The battery panel and pump of the project are arranged in a ratio of 1.5:1. The average working time of the pump is 6.525 hours, and an average of 420 cubic meters of water can be pumped every day.
