Global Warming May Cause Wind Capacity South Moving

- Dec 30, 2017 -

Research by U.S. scientists shows that due to the impact of global warming, the wind capacity in the northern hemisphere may be reduced in this century while the capacity in the southern hemisphere will increase.

Scientists predict that this century, the available wind power from turbines to electricity will show a clear decline in the central United States, the United Kingdom, the northern and central and eastern parts of the Middle East, North Asia and the Far East Asia.

Research indicates that wind capacity may increase in Mexico, Central America, eastern Brazil, southeastern Africa, southeast Asia, northeastern Australia and the southeastern Arabian Peninsula.

This change is due to the rapid warming of the Arctic, which reduces the temperature differences between the Arctic and the tropics, thereby boosting the intensity of the storm.
