India is relatively underdeveloped in energy resources and has a high degree of dependence on overseas energy. Its share of imported energy in total domestic consumption is as high as 70% and continues to rise. India will become the third largest consumer of energy in the world in 2030.
With increasing pressure on energy supply, ensuring energy security has become the top priority of India's foreign strategy.
The Indian government said, the wind energy will satisfy the electric needs of 16% in 2030. The energy-saving market is expected to reach 3.1 billion U.S. dollars (about RMB 20.535 billion).
