The Development and Reform Commission of the Haixi Mongolian Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province was informed that the two leading photovoltaic power generation application bases in Delingha and Golmud in Haixi Prefecture have officially started construction and are expected to be put into operation by the end of this year.
In the list of leading photovoltaic power generation application bases and technology leading bases announced by the National Energy Administration in 2017, the above two bases were successfully selected as the application leader bases. Haixi became the first country in the country to have been selected for two bases in the same batch since the implementation of the “leader” plan.
The above two bases are located at the west of Delingha City and the east exit of Golmud City. The total installed base capacity is 1,000 megawatts. After the project is completed, the average annual power generation is 800 million kilowatt-hours, and the annual output value is about 264 million yuan.
It is also known that after the two bases are completed, they can save about 520,000 tons of standard coal, reduce 70,05 tons of soot emissions annually, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 1,560,000 tons annually, which will further assist the construction of the Clean Energy Demonstration Province of Qinghai Province.
